The current study seeks to reveal the relationship between family factors and parental stress of parents of primary grades' children in the distance learning period during the Covid-19 pandemic in Makkah. The researcher used the descriptive-correlational approach to describe the relationship between family factors and parental stress for parents of primary grades' children. The tools of the study included a form for collecting primary data and the socio-economic level of the family prepared by the researcher, as the form included two parts (the first: related to the parents, while the other part of the form included child\s information), and the scale of parental stress by Richard Abedin, and the sample consisted of parents of Primary grades' children in public schools in the city of Makkah, where they were selected through the (simple random) sampling method, and their number reached 1400 parents. The quantitative data were analyzed using frequencies and percentages, and means and standard deviation were concluded, in addition to using Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the analysis of variance test (ANOVA). The study reached several results, including: there was a positive direct relationship with statistical significance at a significant level (0.01) between the degree of parental stress and the number of children in the family, and there was a statistically significant relationship at a significant level (0.05) between the degree of parental stress and the level of parental education, where the higher degree of stress was associated with having a primary qualification, and there was a statistically significant negative inverse relationship at a significant level (0.01) between the degree of total parental stress and the socioeconomic level of the family. In light of the results, the researcher recommends the following: Paying attention to family financial management, emphasizing the culture of saving for emergencies, providing advice and guidance to parents regarding how to manage their children's education during the distance learning period or during periods of crisis in general.
